the lighting of the bulb
for three years, i’ve questioned the fit of my school to my life and needs. today, the light bulb lit up: yeah, maybe a socal school would’ve been a better choice.
problems of being far from home, not getting into majors i want, not taking certain classes because budget cuts, these are all issues that would’ve been non-existent if i had gone to usc.
i should appreciate my essentially free education right? unfortunately, the last three years of school feels like a waste. classes in business/econ/environmental econ/theater are all jokes. i don’t feel like i’ve learned anything useful, unless you consider cramming and all-nighters useful skills in life.
ultimately, i hate school. thank goodness for the hip hop community, AiR, my friends, my boyfriend, and the awesome people who make me smile.
life lesson of the day: college is a joke.
