walking in los angeles can be lonely
i was once an oc baby. i was driven everywhere, and once i got my license, i drove myself everywhere.
then came berkeley, where i had to walk a whole mile to work or class! i shed ten pounds and loved moving (exercise has never really been my thing prior).
i’ve just relocated to la, and let’s just say like oc, nobody walks. the walk to starbucks today was lonesome. i saw only two other people who dared strut the sidewalk with me. well, at least i’ll have a quiet ‘commute’ back home!
